Rob Farquhar

Rob Farquhar, a BAFTA and Grierson-nominated documentary director, approached us to create a portfolio that could do justice to his award-nominated storytelling. His work captures real lives with honesty and depth, so the new site needed to reflect that authenticity — understated, cinematic, and focused on the human stories at its core.

We developed a refined, documentary-inspired design that emphasizes stillness and story over spectacle. Using a neutral colour palette, clean typography, and subtle motion, we built a site that feels immersive without distraction. A custom CMS allows Rob to update films and projects easily while maintaining a consistent, polished look across the site.

The new robfarquhar.com presents Rob’s work with clarity and confidence. It highlights his creative voice while offering visitors a seamless experience across all devices. The final site feels balanced — professional yet personal — perfectly echoing the tone of his filmmaking.
